Wednesday, July 15, 7pm Lightshark Lightboard Familiarization About the class: This class will familiarize a person with the Lightshark LS-1 Core light board to the point where they will be able to perform as a light board operator for a show that has already been programmed. It will cover the basics of LS-1 Core operation and while the rudiments of lighting design in the context of light board operation will be discussed, it is not intended as a lighting design tutorial. About the instructor: John Leonard has been involved in community theatre since the mid-1970s, both on stage and in a technical capacity. He has served a light board operator on different systems over the years, including the LS-1 Core and full LS-1 boards. Additionally, he has acted as lighting designer for multiple productions and designed and installed a lighting system from scratch.
