Newsletters

The GTW publishes a digital newsletter about once a month, in which we provide an update for our members on the most recent and pertinent information about our group. This includes such things as notification of upcoming meetings and performances, auditions, general news and reminders. We provide contact information for purchasing tickets, and for reaching officers, and keep our membership connected.

Relocating our Storage!

We were recently offered the opportunity to move back to our old storage area at Perley School, and we didn't give them a chance to change their minds! We had a work party on an evening in February, with a great membership turnout and got our materials sorted and moved and stored in our new space in record time. Lou, Ann, Jared, Phil, Mary-Liz, Casey, Chris, Pudge, Carol, Gael  all pitched in and got it done. Gael got us pizza, and we even had some help from the guys who play basketball! We were allowed to leave behind anything we no longer wanted, and it was a big pile... pictures can be found below. Thanks to everyone who helped us make this overwhelming task manageable.

Update About Our Ticket Policy

We have two important updates about our ticket policy to share.

The first concerns our reservation policy. If you would like to be guaranteed a specific seat or ticket, we ask that you pay in advance, by purchasing a ticket online. You can still pay at the door, but seating will be first-come, first-served (general admission).

Secondly, we have an update to how fees are assessed for processing credit and debit card transactions. For tickets purchased before the show, patrons will be charged $1.50 per ticket for this convenience. Until now, the GTW has covered this fee, but we would rather invest our profits in offering high-quality theatre instead of paying fees. We hope you agree.

Thank you very much for continued support to the GTW!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Can I still pay with a credit card at the door?
A1: Yes!

Q2: Did credit card fees go up, if I pay at the door, too?
A2: No! We process credit and debit card transactions through a separate system at the door.

Q3: Did ticket prices go up?
A3: Tickets are still $14 for adults and $9 for seniors and students. We’re now just asking patrons to pay the fees that we’re charged for offering online tickets.

Q4: Why can’t I make a reservation and then pay at the door, like I used to do?
A4: Unfortunately, this practice is not sustainable. For our reservation system to work properly, we must enter each seat reservation (for which we pay a fee). When a patron who’s reserved a seat doesn’t show up, we’re out the fee and guests, who’ve paid at the door, don’t have access to those unsold seats, because they’ve been reserved.
Thanks everyone! Stay safe! Stay well!
